These purple spring nails are a cute nail design for the spring. You don’t need to be artsy to do these simple nails. What’s great about nails is that you can make them your own by changing the colors or placement of the designs.
What you’ll need:
Light Purple Nail Polish – I used LA Colors 651 English Lavender
Dark Purple Nail Polish – I used LA Colors 612 Purple Passion
Sparkle Nail Polish – I used LA Colors 542 Cocktail
White Polish – I used Sinful Colors 101 Snow Me White
Quick Dry Top Coat
First, apply base coat to all your nails and let dry.
Next, apply the light purple to your middle and ring fingers and the darker purple to the rest of your nails. Do a second coat, allowing them to dry between coats.
Once dry, apply the sparkle polish to your middle finger and begin the flower design on your ring finger. Using the larger side of the dotting tool, make 5 dark purple dots on one side toward the edge of your nail. Do the same thing on the opposite side toward the cuticle. If your nail is large enough, you can make a “half flower” right at the edge across from the first flower. Let dry and apply light purple dots inside of the dark purple dots using the smaller side of the dotting tool. Next, add dots to the center of the flowers using white polish and the small side of the dotting tool. You can also add a few dots along the side of the nail below the first flower.
Now apply that is dry, apply the top coat. Once you are sure your nails are dry you can finish by massaging cuticle oil around your cuticles and all over your hands. Enjoy!
