It’s not technically Fall yet, but the weather is getting colder. Do you know what that means? It means pumpkin everything season has started for this girl! The other day I wanted a smoothie, but I didn’t have my normal fruit on hand. I had to get creative. Here is where my pumpkin pie smoothie bowl was born.
I know, I know, banana isn’t in a pumpkin pie. But I needed something to add to the pumpkin. And boy was it a good idea. It added a touch of sweetness and a nice texture to this smoothie bowl. Besides looking nice, this pumpkin pie smoothie bowl is a great source of Vitamin A, Fiber, and Potassium.
Smoothie bowls seem to have become a trend. Hopefully one that will stay for a while, because they are so good! They make a healthy and filling breakfast or a snack. The possibilities are endless.
The great thing about smoothie bowls is that they are very versatile. You can change them up according to your likes. Top them with your favorites. The granola I used comes from this Maple Pumpkin Granola recipe from Attainable Sustainable. It’s so good! It pairs amazingly with this pumpkin pie smoothie bowl.
